Cleaning Instructions
With every installation we give our customers a bottle of Re-Bath Tub & Shower Cleaner. This is the recommended product for cleaning and is available in our showrooms. Please take the time to look at our downloadable PDF file below for approved products and more importantly, the products that ARE NOT recommended. Using a non-approved cleaner can result in voiding your warranty.
Re-Bath Tub & Shower Cleaner is the recommended cleaner for use on Re-Bath products.
Use ONLY the Following Approved Household Cleaners:
If diluted properly, the cleaners listed below have been tested and found to be safe to use only on the Re-Bath bathtubs, shower bases
and wall systems. IMPORTANT: When dilution is required, please follow manufacturer instructions on the label.
PLEASE NOTE: Re-Bath has not tested the cleaning effectiveness of these products. This may vary depending on the type and
amount of soil, water hardness, type of bath soaps used, etc.

GENERAL CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS:
Use non-abrasive soap and water when possible. Review instructions on cleaner before applying to the installed DuraBath SSP(TM) material.
Never use abrasives. Be sure to thoroughly rinse after each cleaning.
**This product is APPROVED on All Gloss material, but is UNAPPROVED for the Matte finishes.
WARNING: Do not use harsh
chemicals, abrasives, lime removers, toilet bowl cleaners or any chemicals
that have not been approved
by Re-Bath. Use of these chemicals or abrasives will cause a dull surface and/or chemical crazing or cracking of the
DuraBath SSP(TM) material.
WARNING: The use of Drano or other harsh chemical drain cleaners is not
recommended. The preferred method for cleaning
is to remove the drain and use a plumber's snake. If chemical drain cleaners must be used, use a funnel and proceed cautiously.
If the drain cleaner comes in contact with the liner it will cause permanent discoloration or damage to the DuraBath SSP(TM) material.
NOTE: Products with an asterisk (*) may cause damage to your glass tub and shower enclosures. Products containing vinegar, bleach,
abrasive or soft abrasive powders and liquids, and steel or Teflon pads may damage the metal frame or scratch the surface of the glass.
*IMPORTANT* CLEANING THE SLIP RESISTANT BOTTOM:
As needed, scrub gently with a soft nylon brush using any of the cleaner
listed above. Use straight Palmolive dish detergent on
stubborn stains. DO NOT use abrasive brushes or pads such as ScotchBrite(R) or any other abrasive products.
Light Scratches or Abrasions: Light scratches can be removed and the original glass fully restored using the following products: Micro-Gloss, Mirror Glaze, J-Wax Turtle Wax or Kit Wax Products.
Heavy Cleaning or Stains: The following products are safe to use, but are not recommended for regular or routine cleaning purposes. Please use these mildly abrasive products only in the event of staining, or when heavy duty cleaning becomes necessary.
